Tokugenin Temple
In the temple is the tomb of Kyogoku, the warlord of North Omi, whose power stemmed from a regional governor during the Middle ages. Doyo cherry blossoms in the precincts were planted by Basara, Lord Doyo Kyogoku. The garden is designed to resemble a river running before a natural mountainside. It is called Seiryu no Niwa which means "clean stream in the garden".
