Rengeji Temple

Rengeji Temple

About 430 people including Nakatoki Hojo committed suicide during the Nanbokucho Period here. The garden is modeled to represent, deep valleys and mountains that approach a pond in which floats a small island. The mountainside has a colony of Azalea in the springtime and in the fall the trees change color to create a beautiful scene.
