After firearms first arrived in Japan, the Japanese quickly started reproduction. At the center of this production was the town of Kunitomo. During the golden age, over 70 smiths and more than 500 craftsmen worked here. Exhibits show the history and culture of firearms and the achievements made in Kunitomo as the major firearms producing town in Japan.
