Keisokuji Temple (Old Hanpukuji Temple)
The area around the temple is known as the Majestic Buddhist holy mountain. During the Middle Ages, the temple was large enough to house many warrior monks. As luck would have it, strong patronage was able to keep this temple powerful until the end of the Edo shogunate. Gradual stone steps mark the approach and 200 old maple trees and moss-grown stone walls produce a profound scenery.
