Azai Noh Play Museum

Azai is an area that has produced fine silk since the Edo Period. The silk of the region was used for Daimyo clothing and Noh costumes. Through an introduction of the production process, you can learn the spirit and the art of Noh theater in addition to enjoying an extensive exhibition. Noh costumes, masks, paintings, folding screens, and Jacquard looms are exhibited here.
