Anrakuji Temple
Belonging to the Myoshinji sub-sect of the Rinzai Sect, this temple was burnt down in the Battle of Anegawa (1570) but was reconstructed in the early 17th century by Naotaka Ii, the chief lord of the Hikone clan. Reportedly designed by Musokokushi, the garden is among the most beautiful in the prefecture.
